About this listen

Dan Jenkins virtually invented the golf novel with Dead Solid Perfect, his rollicking account of the life and times of touring pro Kenny Lee Puckett. For the first time ever, Dan Jenkins’ best Golf Digest pieces have been collected together with over 20 all-new essays for the next generation of golfers. Often biting, usually cranky, always hilarious and surprising, this is Dan Jenkins at his best.

Some humor sparsely sprinkled among hour of statistical information (with a personal twist). Not worth the read. I might point out that the best part of the book was the preview or "sample" I believe they called.

I was actually looking forward to this, but it was nothing but self-indulgent stories with an attempt to be witty. The first 100 one-liners were kind of cute but it just got boring after that.

The author is very self indulgent

Not sure if it was the text or the narrator, but the author Congress across as extremely chilli of himself. Not really a book, more of a collection of stuff from his other books. Not good.

Bummed
