Publisher's summary

Some discoveries are better left unmade.

Peter thought he was done with grave robbing, but when a former business partner lures him out to Dungarradh, a small Scottish island with a big secret, he finds himself waist deep in more than local folklore. Is the disappearance of his teammate truly the work of the legendary fae, or is a sinister force at play?

A brand-new tale of dark fantasy and horror, from the best-selling author of What Hides Within and Seeing Evil.

Really Well Written and Narrated

I found both the story and the narrator to be enjoyable. Glad I found this and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a captivating story that isn't stretched thin, the novella format makes the story move along at a great pace and the story telling keeps it interesting from start to finish.

A good and creepy story

A big fan of nautical based stories as well as those of darker fae. This one satisfies both for me. A small Island. Some shady characters after treasure. An age old deal. Some dark nautical fae creatures. All elements present and accounted for. Sit back and be creeped

Unseemly

Short stories are great. Anything can, and usually does happen. I have read 6 stories from Jason Parent now and this is the first that doesn't seem to have a character with a downright hostile and awful familial past. Other than that, it is full of characters both liked and despised, cast of side characters sketchy as a politician, and a series of incredibly terrible events. Classic Parent. I don't want to give anything away. The ending is great. Just great. Also maybe my worst nightmare.
