About this listen

Dex

Shame. Prejudice. Fear. All woven into the very fabric of my being. I'm swathed in them like the most suffocating cloak.

Beneath this toxic mantle, I wear my desires close to my heart. Where it's dark. Where they're safe.

Until I meet Darcy, a dancer at Alchemy and the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. The only problem? Her boyfriend, Max.

She makes me feel alive, but he arouses emotions I've taken great care my entire life to condemn and deny and bury. Emotions I've always been taught are sinful and wrong.

Together, they show me love far too great to be a sin, too bright to languish in the darkness.

Even as our relationship flourishes, the shame and fear remain in place, tearing me apart and threatening what deserves only the most dazzling light.

If anyone can unstitch this cloak from me, thread by thread, and liberate me, it's this woman... and this man.

If I let them.

Unstitch is a super spicy love story between Darcy, Max, and Dex. It forms part of the Alchemy series but can be enjoyed as a standalone, and these three get a great big HEA.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

This is my favorite Alchemy book and I’m so in love with the narrators bringing Max, Dex and Darcy to life for us to hear. I will be listening to it again since I was sad to have it end.

Felt more connected toward the end

The first 1/3 of the book I didn’t feel connected to Darcey or Max. Such a casual relationship it seemed. Once Dex was added it felt like he had a relationship with only Max so the dynamic just didn’t feel balanced. Still an interesting storyline and I love me some Will Watt.

Double D Trouble

I LOVED hearing this one through audible. I read the book first and, as always, this dynamic duo of talented narrators brought such amazing life to the story and characters. Being able to easily identify the males, through different voice pitch and even accented speaking, was really well done.
Bring on Audacity!!!

Oh, Max!

Unstitch introduces us to an intriguing throuple: Dex, Max, and Darcy. While their story is a standalone, it seamlessly integrates with the broader Alchemy series, featuring familiar faces and showcasing their interactions with the main characters. The connections run deep, with Dex being Belle’s brother, Darcy is Gen’s sister, and Max is stepping into Anton’s shoes as the new CEO of his company.

Max immediately captivates with his unapologetic, alpha-male persona. His commanding presence and unwavering confidence exude a powerful energy that’s hard to resist. From the very beginning, Max’s charisma and strength make him an irresistible force in the narrative. In contrast, Darcy and Dex bring more complexity to the story, each carrying their own emotional baggage. Their journey involves confronting difficult choices as they navigate between societal expectations and their true desires. The development of the relationship between these three is both challenging and rewarding, as they work to reconcile their feelings with their life decisions.

One of the most compelling aspects of the story is Max’s protective nature towards both Dex and Darcy. As the trio’s relationship evolves, we witness their bond strengthening through shared experiences and obstacles. Elodie skillfully portrays how time and challenging circumstances guide these three towards an unconventional yet deeply loving relationship. Unstitch offers a captivating exploration of a polyamorous relationship, blending elements of romance, personal growth, and the courage to defy societal norms in pursuit of true happiness.

Will Watt and Kylie Stewart wowed me, once again with their brilliant performances.
