Enter the mysterious world of the snake-like yuan-ti....
Hlondeth - A city populated by the humanoid serpents known as the yuan-ti, and ruled by House Extaminos...
This powerful House of Serpents is the ultimate target of The Pox, a human cult whose members worship the goddess of plague and disease, and who begins to work the deadly will of Sibyl's Chosen, a dangerous cabal of yuan-ti who will turn every human in the city into a freakish tainted one, unless Dediana, a yuan-ti half-blood, can stop them all.

Also, this series displays a little known D&D class called the Psion which is like a Mind wizard which is also fascinating and different. This entire series is a truly exceptional work.
I say all this to fortify my frustrations with those who created and produced this audiobook series AGAIN using a narrator that would be better off reading cheap Western novels with his Southern accent rather than trying to read a book series based on Fantastic places, creatures and exotic words he can hardly pronounce.
What's the difference between Fantasy novel readers and any other genre book reader that we deserve such terrible narrators seemingly desperate for menial performance work?
Good Story, Lousy Narration
