I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Golden Angel has once again written a story that is filled with love and also the emotions faced by people in their lives. This is the fifth book in the Venue series featuring Jessica, Chris, and Justin, but I would read it after reading the Stronghold series. Believe me the Venus and Stronghold series will have you laughing, gasping, crying, and loving the characters and their bonds of love and friendship formed in this BDSM family. Jessica, Justin, and Chris are finally uniting but Chris's dad will try to sabotage their day. I love how Golden gives us so much more insight into the dynamics of this biological family. Chris's friends are his real family that have his back all of the time. The girls' bachelorette party will have you laughing out loud. Needless to say, there will be explosively hot love scenes.

The narrator makes you feel the emotions of this story. She puts her all into this book. Her words flow smoothly and the listener can simply enjoy.

I HIGHLY recommend this Audible book. It contained the angst, love and comedy that has followed all of these characters that I dearly love. I hate to see these series end, but I know that we will get to see these characters again in the upcoming Marquis series. These books are definitely ones that I will be rereading. Thank you Golden Angel for such loveable characters.

It feels like I waited forever for Golden Angel to give Jessica and her guys the ultimate HEA.
It was fun to see their friends from Stronghold make an appearance. The narrators performance made me listen for hours at a time, and I felt it improved as the story went on. I was fortunate to win a code for this book.

I want to start by saying, I love the idea of this series and I think the story is very engaging and entertaining.

I recently revisited this series after a couple years, and as much as I enjoyed the story the narrator that did the final four books(Brooke Pillifant) ruined it for me.

The acting and phrasing was so distracting. The performance gave the impression that the narrator read this in one take without understanding what they were reading. There were no vocal dynamics to speak of and the acting and emotional connection was flat.

I think I’ll download the series on kindle( I may even record it myself, for my own audio enjoyment). This will definitely be another narrator added to the “NO” list.
