Publisher's summary

I’m an unremarkable Pyromancer student; there’s no chance I’m skilled enough at runetracing to graduate—let alone take part in the war against the Silithik.

Yet after a surprise attack on the Fifth Academy, I’m the only Pyromancer left alive. Now I’m thrust directly into a Dragon Quintelaide, an elite fighting unit comprising one member of each battle profession.

Pyromancer. Warrior. Frost Mage. Tinker. Ranger. Shadow.

It takes years of combat experience to be promoted to Dragon, and years of experience I’m severely lacking. And my new Quintmates know it.

These men are as handsome and charming as heroes ripped straight out of a ballad, and they’re skeptical of my ability to help them win this war, especially while coping with their own horrific tragedy.

But Jaxon, the chiseled warrior in gleaming plate mail, is someone I have a flirty history with. I see the knowing glances he sends my way when he thinks I’m not looking…

Can I convince my new Quintmates–and myself–that I belong here, while also discovering the terrible secret they’re hiding?

Or will the Silithik menace kill us first?

Warrior's Wrath is the first book in Pyromancer’s Path, a paranormal reverse harem romance series. It features sword-and-bow action, a unique magic system, and all the slow-burn romance you’d come to expect from a Reverse Harem. HEA guaranteed!

Cassie Cole is one of my favorite authors. I as usual loved this piece of the series. GOOD READ!!

The world in this book is uniquely written. I really enjoyed it and finished it in one sitting. I wasn’t at all disappointed in any part of this book.

Shows solid potential

I enjoyed the world building and the combat. We get a little introduction to the personalities of the key players, but I prefer more character development and meaningful interaction.

Both narrators did a fantastic job and the storyline was enticing. I can't wait for the other installments in the series!

A great series beginning book!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This series is firmly planted in the fantasy category and I couldn’t get enough. The many accents and voices of the talented Lucas Webley are incredible! This was my first narration by Pippa Jayne and I enjoyed her as well. I wouldn’t say it ends on a big cliffhanger, maybe a little one, but basically it just makes you want the story to continue. Can’t wait for the next book!

Great start

A great introduction to a new series by Cassie Cole. It is a slow burn as stated in the blurb but the heroine has to get to know her five guys and overcome the death of their previous partner it is understandable that the romance is slow. I can’t wait until the next book is out on audible so I hear all about their next adventure.

A great start to a new fantasy series

This is a great start to a new fantasy romance series. Aly is bereft after an attack on her academy and the loss of her friends, and the dragon quint is feeling similarly after the same attack cost them greatly.
I loved that this story did not have Aly present great magic out the gate. She was admittedly a mediocre pyromancer, forced into impossible situations where she shined (sometimes). It’s not often we don’t get chosen one vibes off the bat.
Joining the quint that was present during the attack was a surprise, and it was not as smooth as any of them assumed. I appreciated the fact that everything was not smooth sailing. It added the the characters depth and growth.
Her relationship with Jax was sweet and spicy, and I think it will aid in her attempt to bond with the rest of the quint.
The magic system was unique and interesting, as were the makeup of the villains of this book.
The plot for possible corruption within their hierarchy was noted and I’m looking forward to uncovering the overarching plot in the next book.
The audio performances were fantastic.

Very interesting!

Keep in mind, this is book 1 in a series...

***SPOILER***

It's a really interesting world but it is a slow start of the RH. In fact, she only starts a relationship with one of the guys in this book and it's at the very end. BUT! I can now see where the relationship with the others will begin.
