Publisher's summary

Why would I want to be married to an alien?

I should not have applied to TerraMates! The idea was crazy. I'm a young woman, in the prime of my life.

But I was desperate.

When I landed on another world, his appearance intrigued me. He dripped sexuality and moved like an animal. We have three days together before he sets sail without me. Am I going to escape or submit to my desires?

A great start to a great series!

Would you consider the audio edition of Water World Warrior to be better than the print version?

No, both were great. The narrators were fine for the story. Although they really didn't add much to it, they also didn't detract from it. I was able to get into the story while listening to it without finding my mind wandering too much.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It's a short listen for me. Because I was able to get into the story without being distracted, it was easy to listen to in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

This first book is a good introduction to the series. Both of the main characters are put into a position where TerraMates seems like the only solution to their short term problems. Both are looking to get through a year together then get on with their lives as TerraMates requires its clients to stay married for a year.

The book has two strong individuals as it's main characters. Turns out they have a lot more in common than either realized.
-- Environmental scientists, Natural caretakers, problem solvers, supportive family and friends, encounters with the same psychic alien, a problem child in their immediate family, very independent personalities

The book takes a few unexpected turns and the characters also take actions that are unexpected. It keeps the story moving. Both characters have strong personalities and make decisions fairly quickly so there is very little of the whining so often found in romances.

I don't want to spoil the story for you, so I am not going to go into more detail, but I really enjoyed the book and recommend that you give it a try. Worth the credit or a purchase depending on which type of membership you have. If it's on sale, grab it up!

Thanks!
PJ

Love this book!

This book is unique enough to keep your interest and so much fun. I really am anxious to see where she goes with this series. I really liked hearing the audio version. I was able to listen while I cleaned or just anytime. The difference in this book had me hooked

Loved the story, too bad female was tin sounding

The only reason for the three stars on performance is the tin can and echoing sound of the female performer.

Great story!

I really enjoyed this story. The author created a story that's unique enough to be interesting but familiar enough that it felt hard to follow. I liked the characters, the planet and the 'dating service'.

I really enjoyed the female narrator. She did a phenomenal job.

The male narrator left a little bit to be desired. Sometimes, it felt that he didn't put enough emotion into his words.

All-in-all, it was a good story and I'm looking forward to listening to the next story.

Good Story

I liked this story and the narrators were really good. Pretty cool plot and action. Wish there was a little more spice to it, but would endorse it.
