Did the dating app make a mistake? You wonder!

A great topic for a good contemporary Romance. Filling out profiles to help you find a perfect romantic partner is definitely what a person is supposed to do to nowadays. But, does the old-fashioned way of just knowing someone from the past work? The author set out a very interesting premise as the storyline for this book. I enjoyed it but would have liked it better, if there were a few more details about the feelings of the characters and the work that was necessary to develop the relationship. I guess, I wished the story was a bit longer because I really liked the topic. The other thing, I really enjoyed was the male narrator voice. Definitely, a great pick for the story.

The ultimate dating app leads you to true love

A dating app that will match you to your one true soul mate, an ex love turned billionaire, a nemesis and an aspiring painter who never got over her first love, mix it all together and you have Destiny in the making! I really loved this book. It was one of my favorite Lisa Lace stories! It has a bit of everything and keeps you guessing!

Excellent Contemporary Romance

Mismatch was a very unique story and totally different than anything I have read from Lisa Lace. She put a twist on the Billionaire romance by adding a second chance romance between high school sweethearts! It was definitely a big win for me!

Narration was well done and brought the story to life.

Lily is a free spirit that loves to paint. She had big plans for traveling when she was a teen but reality has kept her put since she graduated from high school. She lives in a small town in Arizona and she is still pursuing her dream of painting.

Ethan lost his mom when he was a teen and vowed to improve his financial situation. He leaves his high school sweetheart behind because he thinks she will not understand what he plans to do. Many years later, Ethan is a Billionaire working hard and ripping the benefits of hard work but he still feels empty.

Ethan’s rival, Vincent, gets matched with Lily but not all is what is seems. The new dating app pairs soulmates. You will have to read this book if you want to find out what happens next!!! I recommend this book to all Lisa Lace fans or anyone that enjoys contemporary romances with some steamy moments.

a great billionare romance

I received this book from my own free will for an honest review.

I was in awe, liked it so much. Let's begin with the characters, I always love them they are so real and have so many problems that can happen to anyone anywhere. Ethan was crazy, a little paranoic but that made relate to him more. Lily was so sweet but strong at the same time, she was the best.

the plot was steady and left me wanting more of this story, it was the perfect balance between romance, drama and sensuality.

now we need a series so Chloe have her chance to get a happy ending.

had potential...

This story started out really good. When the heroine slept with the H after their first meeting in 11 years without explanation why he left her ruined a good story. The back and forth was too much to enjoy the story. I skipped many chapters so I can get to the end. This story had potential but the h and the hero acted like children even years later. The story was well written but the sex during their first encounter ruined for me.

Ethan and Lily

I have to say before I start this audio review that I read the ebook first so I knew what to expect but the audio book, I think, gives you so much more depth.

If you have read the blurb you will know what to expect but the blurb won't tell you how well this book is written and performed. The storyline is good, it's different to what I've come to expect from Lisa Lace in that I'm more accustomed to reading/listening to her books about super alien races, hot sexy guys with wings no less!

Ethan and Lily have known each other forever, she is a couple of years younger than him but they have so much in common age doesn't seem to matter. They lived close to each other and had the perfect friendship, they made plans for their future after school was finished. They planned to travel the world. There was just one thing wrong with their plans they didn't have any money to do it with.

Ethan suffered a devastating loss, his mother died and he felt that if he had been able to pay for treatment she would have lived. If only he had kept his dead end job instead of giving it up to paint he could have made a difference. His mother was his sole parent and her loss puts him into the system until he is old enough to leave it.

Lily lives with her parents and although she knows how upset Ethan is she doesn't really realize how it is going to affect both their lives.

Shortly after Lily's graduation and the consummation of their love Ethan leaves, he doesn't say goodbye, he doesn't leave a forwarding address he even disconnects his phone. Lily is bereft! Why? What's wrong?

Unbeknownst to Lily Ethan had applied for and been accepted into Columbia, he has to work two jobs and has loans coming out of his ears but he is never going to be so poor he can't pay for medicine again!

Whilst in college his roommate and he develop a computer programme worth a lot of money but his roommate cuts him out of the deal starting what turns into a fude lasting years. When Ethan's Company develop a dating app and it pairs his old roommate/nemesis with Lilly Ethan feels he has to do something about it. He decides to take action, unfortunately all he does is make matters worse! For someone so good at business he is terrible at relationships.

Lily has spent years pining for Ethan, there is nobody else for her, she lives alone with her cat Biscuit and has never left the state she lives in. She knows that Ethan made it big but has never tried to see him.

I loved the characters of Jennifer, Ethan's right hand woman and Chloe Lily's best friend.

Overall I had a lot of empathy with Lily but I felt that for someone who was such a free spirit she didn't do anything about living her dream of travelling. She became quite closed off I thought. Ethan I wanted to slap and tell him to wake up and do something with his life apart from making money! Which just goes to show how talented Lisa is to make me so angry at him.

I can't really say more without spoiling the whole story so what I will say is this one although quite annoying at times because I found myself wanting to slap Ethan and his nemesis, a truly horrible man, I could not stop listening. The sign of a good book as far as I'm concerned.

I was gifted this book and am writing my review voluntarily.

Mismatch by Lisa Lace

MISMATCH is a wonderfully written second chance love story between a computer software wiz and his high school sweetheart, Lily. Ethan has designed a software program that will match people to their soulmates, but is finding it hard to convince his own true love of his sincerity. In the meantime, his greatest competitor is moving in on both his largest client and his girl. Will Ethan decide where his priorities lie in time to find happiness with his own true love? And is his true love Lily or the company he built from scratch?

Author Lisa Lace continues the matchmaking theme of her TerraMates series, but without the alien Sci-Fi aspect of the story. As always her characters have engaging personalities that draw you into their story, there's a huge conflict to resolve before their HEA, a bit of danger, great dialogue with plenty of humor, and a unique storyline. I really liked the story and felt the use of both a male and female for narration added depth to my experience making it even more enjoyable. 4 stars.

Computer Dating

Ethan and Vincent are business rivals. When Ethan creates a software program called Destiny to help everyone find their true love, Vincent decides to use the app against Ethan by dating Ethan's first love, Lily a free spirited painter,

Vincent's motives are more deceptive and Ethan must choose what's really important to him, but first has to do some serious soul searching to discover this, and revisit his own past.

Meghan Kelly is always a favorite and Connor Brown is a great match (pun intended) to this crazy competitive love story

A Great New Lisa Lace Book

Mismatched hit me by surprise, the story was different than other's that I had read by Lisa Lace. She took one of the boring love a billionaire books and create a wonderful story of reunion, and the endurance of love through everything.

Lily and Ethan were childhood sweethearts. Then Ethan leaves without even a Dear John, letter. Lily moves on with her life but never forgets her highschool sweethearts. Through time Lily grows in her artwork, in her life in her little town in Arizona.

Ethan Steele, owner and creator of a multi-billion dollar security systems firm, has found that there is sometimes trouble when your past is put into your face again. A new dating app has been created by Steele Industries claiming it can match you with your perfect someone.

Vincent Oswald, owner and creator of Oswald Industries, a competitor to Steele Inudstires, is determined to ruin Ethan Steele. He uses Ethan's matchmaking app to match himself with a girl from Arizona named Lily.

What will Lily do? Will she see Ethan or will he stay out of the picture? Will Vincent love her or is he playing with her? Grab a copy and you can learn all the answers. I would suggest this book to anyone interested in a good Lisa Lace, or even a good love story with some steamy scenes.
