A colorful surprise!
I was looking for a watercolor audio book I could listen on my way to work. I know that an audiobook about watercolor painting is a somewhat counter intuitive notion, but I decided to give it a try. What a wonderful surprise! This book is just a gem! I would happily pay ten times more for it. The author is able to present the most important concepts of the technique. He also gives great tios and suggestions, as well as encouragement for beginners and iniciated watercolorists and sketchers alike. I’ll be listening to the audiobook again and again, and I strongly suggest you do the same!

As advertised, an honest book
A very basic yet helpful and informative overview of the world of watercolor; probably best for an already somewhat knowledgeable beginner watercolorist. My only disappointment is that the author chose not to provide additional information to flesh out the covered aspects of supplies, basic color theory, factors to focus on when planning a painting, as well as the associated steps of doing such, and finally some tidbits of good factual advice.
I fervently appreciate that he didn’t take the path so many writers these days seem to do through being overly wordy without saying much more than the the basic, in the attempt to fool the listener with flowery language and humorous anecdotes into believing they are getting a main course, when the real food being served is merely a tasty and filling appetizer.
The book was as advertised, and my hope is the author will write more books delving into the minutiae of painting with watercolor! Very good and quick listen!

I like this booklet very much
yes it's short but there are no wasted words - a ton of inspiring and useful information about water coloring techniques ,choosing paint and brushes, paper. even interesting history of watercolor thrown in. I enjoy and learn from audio so I didn't miss the fact that there were no pictures and the price was certainly reasonable. Good references to additional painting and drawing books , websites and brand names for supplies. I can listen and make my plans while I'm doing busy work or driving when I'd rather be painting but I can't. I bought two more of this author's books I think he's very talented and well spoken.

Great information, grating narration
This is very informative and I will be listening again with a pen and paper ready to take detailed notes. The narrator's tone and inflection were off putting.
