About this listen

In this Wealth and Widom bundle you'll find Think and Grow Rich the number-one inspirational and motivational classic for individuals who are interested in furthering their lives and reaching their goals by learning from important figures in history.

The Science of Getting Rich is a revolutionary primer on prosperity consciousness that has been enriching millions since it was first published in 1910. It was, in fact, the inspiration for The Secret. And, though it was meant to be a practical guide to warfare in the age of chariots, The Art of War is a seminal work on the philosophy of successful leadership and is as applicable to contemporary business as it is to war. It is a must for today's corporate and political leaders.

Let these three classics be the inspiration for you to find your path to Wealth and Wisdom.

The science of getting rich is rubbish

What disappointed you about Wealth and Wisdom Classics: Think and Grow Rich, The Science of Getting Rich, The Art of War?

I haven't gotten to the others, but the science of getting rich was bad enough. 1 star. Absolute garbage, not science, all ideology.

Dated

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you are looking for the Art of War, you'll get two other titles for the same credits, however, Think and Grow Rich is the original version and its pretty dated.

What was most disappointing about the authors’s story?

I should have gotten the Think and Grow Rich for the 21st Century. The original version is overloaded with very old examples and references. I'm sure the content is the same, but Edison is talked about as if he is still alive.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Narration is fine.

Any additional comments?

The Art of War is fine- its timeless so that is the main value of this set. I didn't listen to The Science of Getting Rich. Think and Grow Rich is too dated to finish. If you want this title, get the updated version, its much more relevant to today's culture. It just feels dusty and irrelevant, although I don't really think it is, its just too hard to access the true message under all the early 1900's references.

Not For Me

The voice and repetitive wording kept me disengaged. I'd prefer a more energetic narrator with audio books.
