Good resource for teachers

He made a lot of apologies at the beginning, as to what type of book this is, and who would be reading it. There was no need to do that, although this book is perhaps for a specific audience.

In addition to those who are interested in learning more about the subject, I think that this audiobook can be good resource for teachers. Perhaps graduate TA instructors or high school Earth Science teachers.

Although I already knew all of the material, I was interested in hearing the explanations and examples given. I have taught these topics, but it is always useful to hear another take on how to word an explanation, an example or some alternative analogies. These are worth listening to.

Driving and listening to this, I found myself thinking that I might "steal" some of his explanations/examples when I teach a related course. However, there were also a few times, when I was thinking "this is not expressed correctly". But that is OK, There is more than one way to (skin a cat) -- describe how the atmosphere works.

USA Weather for Dummies who live in the USA

This book focuses mainly on the USA.

I must express my disappointment with "Weather for Dummies." While seeking a comprehensive guide to weather science, I found the book lacking in depth and clarity. The long, dragged-out explanations, chaotic writing style, too much filler, and excessive humor detracted from the educational value. The illogical organization and US-centric focus further hindered my understanding and engagement.

In sum, the book fell short of my expectations, leaving me longing for a more informative and structured resource on weather science.

This book is too long.

The title of this book should be changed to "The never-ending USA weather dummies".

Wasn't crazy about it.

Half the book is about global warming. Was under the impression that this book was about basic weather features and how to recognize them. Not weather debate.
