Publisher's summary

After solving two cases in her first months with the FBI, Peyton feels things are beginning to come together in her career. Her personal life is another matter. Although Marco has shown signs he wants to work on their relationship, building trust will take time.

However, that progress is put on hold when an American college student is killed in London. Peyton and the Ghost Squad must venture across the pond to solve the murder and catch a killer that grows bolder with each attack, leaving only a single clue behind...

The howl of a werewolf.

Absoluty Excellent

Thx Thx Thx, waited for this audiobook daily. ML Hamilton emailed me personally and told audiobook was being edited as she emailed me. Her novels continue to get better with each addition. This was my favorite. Worth the credit. Too bad I own all of the first eight books, which are all in one audiobook for one credit. Love Love the all the main players, they continue to evolve with novel warts and all.😋 Waiting for next audiobook. Have read them all. Again ML continue to write on!

Best yet - great series - great stand alone title

As this series progresses both the mysteries and the relationships become more intricate. The FBI Ghost Squad travels to Great Britain to aid in the investigation of an American student's death. They search for a killer in the bowels of London's gritty streets and tube side. We get to know the members of FBI Ghost Squad much more intimately - Bambi, Tank. Radar is softening, maybe! We see London through Peyton's eyes much the same as we grew to love San Francisco from the Peyton Brooks' Mystery series. I was really touched by the obstacles that Marco is going through. Everyone expects a pretty boy, a handsome drop dead gorgeous guy in every story, I think. We don't usually see him struggle and things get quite deep for him in this book. A particularly touching moment is his nephew's high school graduation speech. If you are looking for a story with depth & social conscience, a mystery with twists and turns, a romance with realistic joys & pitfalls... And a couple cliff hangers - our dead marine with ancient coins and our clumsy friend that keeps hanging around Peyton.
Great summer, poolside, long flight listen. You will want to listen all in one sitting and yet also savor it - not wanting it to end.

Great Book!

Any additional comments?

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises.
The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Werewolves in London

Peyton’s latest case with the Ghost Squad takes her to London. Having visited London a few years ago, I loved all the local references... they brought back fond memories.

M.L. Hamilton has done a fantastic job with keeping 2 storylines going in the book. While Peyton is in London, Marco and the SFPD are working on their own high profile case. Then there is the relationship story arc too. Lots going on to keep my interest!

Kelley Hazen has really outdone herself with this narration. Not only does she have different voices for the regular cast of characters, but now there are more and with new accents added in. Truly entertaining.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

An Awesome Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it very entertaining. A very interesting plot, developed around two main characters. The story moves along at good pace, as the heroes work to solve two different cases in two different countries. Between the well written characters and the suspense building plot you'll keep listening longer than you intended. It will make your commute seem much shorter.
