What if something in history changed

Where does What If? Part 1 rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

I would say it ranks in the middle of the pack.

What did you like best about this story?

I have always enjoyed alternate history stories.

Which scene was your favorite?

If Hitler had been killed in World War I.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

If history changed.

don't waste your time these 6 authors didn't.

each author lacked intrigue and insight - 11th grade history teachers have said the same things for decades.

Have to keep up the pace to listen

Overall, I liked the audiobook. You will need to be prepared to pay attention to get the full value.

I wish there would have been a little more "What if" to the story. It really was more history than "What if". More conjecture and conclusion was warranted.

Fascinating

First, this is an alternate history so questioning individual events is pointless. If you want actual history read factual history books.

Second I now have a list of factual history books I want to read to learn more about the pivotal points explored by the authors the alternative timelines.

Wise words

The sheer brilliance of the authors comes out in the first minutes. Like sitting in the lecture theatre listening to an exceptional mind. A pleasure and privilege to listen.

Well done

A good book to help with understanding forecasting and future plans. Very interesting perspectives. This book helps the reader to see how much the world can change from a very little action.

For history buffs

Not for beginners. In other words, you need to be really familiar with both world wars (among other things) to get the most out of this. If you're not, you're going to feel lost. The narration is good, the quality of the work is good, so if you're a history buff, you should really get a lot of this book. If you're not, don't expect them to bring you up to date. Won't happen. I'm bothering mentioning this because the editor's description makes the book sound pretty accessible, as if they're just going to be talking about "what if" Hitler won the war. Yeah, they do go into that, but the discussion is very academic. Just so you know.
