About this listen

In only two weeks, Tap Andrews will tip his hat and say "so long" to bachelorhood. Normally, that would be enough time to take care of business and finalize wedding plans. But considering his knack for finding trouble, it may take him longer.

For instance, there's a gang of rustlers invading his ranch, a missed bank payment he didn't know about, a sniper taking potshots at him, and problems at the local dance hall. In fact, there's so much trouble that it's likely he'll miss his own wedding! But never fear - Tap's word is good, even if his timing's not.

Hilarious!!

This is the best of an excellent series. It did leave you with questions though.

Not as enjoyable as the first two.

What did you love best about Where the Deer and the Antelope Play?

The insane way the wedding worked out in the end.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I don't think I could. I can see where it was necessary for the character development for the rest of the series. But just like having to eat vegetables is not as enjoyable as pie ala mode, this was filling and entertaining, but just not as tasty as the first two.

What about Jerry Sciarrio’s performance did you like?

He uses just enough emotion in his reading to be believable without over doing it.

Who was the most memorable character of Where the Deer and the Antelope Play and why?

Stack Lowry. This book was important to really show his heart for the rest of the series.

Any additional comments?

Nope.
