Funniest Series Ever-But Not For Faint of Heart

I rarely find things that make me laugh out loud, but this series does it. It took me a little while to adjust to the narrator and the main character- but not long into the first book I was in LOVE, laughing out loud. Every book has moments that make me want to call my best gal friends to say, "You have GOT to hear this!!!" Honestly, this is one of three series that has ever inspired me to That! BUT, if you are offended by foul language or a little raunchy gal humor- this isn't the series for you. For those of you can laugh at the ridiculous, appreciate characters strong in character, AND who see the humor in their own foibles (as well as everyone around them)- this series is awesome!

Lots of skips and repeated segments

A good giggle but the audio editing could use a good review. Overall worth dealing with the frustrations.

As always amazing

I absolutely love these books and have ravaged them one by one!! The characters are well rounded and easy to relate too, the story line is brilliantly put together and keeps me reading with rapt attention.
My only criticism is that sometimes in the audiobook version the editing is sloppy. There are sometimes second and third takes of sections that were not removed and it just takes away from the story.
But even with those moments they are still laugh out loud funny and keep me wanting more!
Thank you for the gift!

Are we missing a chapter?

I like the series, but there’s a big chunk missing in this book - van to the shop for repair? What happened to it? Magic Mike? Where did he come from? What happened to Addison that she’s bruised?
Also, some of the story line from the previous book got lost. Was there an in-between short story?

Average enjoyment

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I have enjoyed this silly series up to Book 5. I just felt like Book 5 just took the craziness too far.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

I felt like there were too many characters for one narrator to play. The voices all seemed to sound a like after a few chapters.

Another great story but missing a chapter

I absolutely love the latest addition in the Addison's story, but somewhere between getting in at midnight one night she magically appears driving across the bridge with her partner in crime. The narrator is awesome, but I think in the recording they missed a chapter. There's mysterious bruising, an unknown hook up, and damage to her vehicle. References of a fall and some crazy wardrobe choices. None of which are explained. I was completely confused the first time I listened. After listening to it a second time and knowing what's coming I can piece it all together. But I missing all the fun of at least a chapter or two.
And call me stingy, but I want every chapter of Addison's life story that I can get my hands on!

Does anyone listen to these before they are published for sale?

The first chapter or two is so annoying that the only reason i kept going was my desire to know what happened. There was no editing of the sound track and the repetition of some parts was horrible. After the first couple of chapters that does get better. I really like this series but the author has definitely taken some creative license here. Nicks grandfather dies in book one but suddenly he's alive and a senator. Addison had an incident involving her hair previously in the storyline and had to cut it but in this book she cuts it for the first time since she was little. It's like someone else wrote this story without reading the other books. Still, it was an entertaining story, just didn't seem to go well with the previous books in the series.

Too short and chapter 1 has lots of narrations issues!!

I love the series, but I'm just curious if anyone proofs/reviews these narrations, because chapter 1 is painful to listen to near the end, as the sentences are epeated 2 to 3 times each... It does get a lot better after that, this is a quite colorful and embarrassing book!! Entertaining but seemed short... and that's not very good considering there were so many repetitive sentences in the first chapter...

Frustrating

I love the series but this book was sloppy. There were several parts of the back story that didn’t match facts from previous books.

Audio editing was horrible! There were several places where phrases were repeated which is annoying. The fact that at least half of chapter 7 was missing altogether is extremely frustrating! Apparently there was some big action in that part of the chapter as the next chapters refer back to whatever happened but it doesn’t make sense since you don’t have that chunk of the story.

I feel like I was ripped off using a full price credit to buy a book with missing pages.
