Two days before Christmas, a young woman is found dead beneath the cliffs of the deserted village of Kalfshamarvik. Did she jump, or did something more sinister take place beneath the lighthouse and the abandoned old house on the remote rocky outcrop? With winter closing in and the snow falling relentlessly, Ari Thor Arason discovers that the victim's mother and young sister also lost their lives in this same spot, 25 years earlier....

The landscapes described are intriguing and the characters are good and believable.
Well worth a read if you like mysteries, more so if you also like Iceland.
Narration was pretty good, though a couple voices sounded somewhat forced.
Enjoyable addition, with a good mystery

In the novel that is listed as the second in the series. The child is about a year old and also some other plot points that follow from White Out are addressed. I don’t know why White Out considered the fifth out of the sixth in the series. It is a bit confusing.
This novel belongs as the second in the Dark Iceland collection
