Exceeds expectations

I’m on the clock atm lol ;). But I could go on and on about how good this book is. No matter what kind of witch or Wiccan you are this is an invaluable asset. =). The author has a vast wealth of knowledge.

In depth and well documented

One of the best sources of Kitchen Magick for both Wiccans and Witches alike.

Better than most on this subject!

I have many books on this topic and this is by far my favourite. Lisa Chamberlain always seems to just have a way of explaining things that really speaks to me. As a well seasoned hand at this Craft for over 30 years, her books manage to keep even an older practitioner freshly inspired. I adore the way she always offers something the others don't somehow. There is definitely some extra sparkle and I like to think it's her own magic at work in her writing.

informative

wish there was more to it. I didn't really enjoy the narrator, but I'm usually picky. I'll actually pick books based on who is reading it

A Home Witch Beginner's Guide

This book is great for new comers to Home and Kitchen Witchery. Helped me understand the intention behind the practice, how to set up my space, and how to get started with ingredients. The narration is good too!

Not for the dabbler or non-believer after all.

I am not a wiccan. I believed the summary of the book when it said this book could be of use for non-wiccans. I thought it was going to be more about an over-arching whole earth philosophy and cooking in harmony with the earth (which I suppose the author might say is exactly what she is trying to convey), but when the reader began explaining "prana" and "chi" and the rest of the mystical religious philosophy contained herein, the author lost me completely. Sorry Ms Chamberlain, I hope you don't think I'm a bad person, but it was too much for me to swallow.

PS- even if you ARE a wiccan, I recommend buying a physical or e-copy of the book. Recipes and lists of ingredients are more understandable when you can refer to them visually.

Interesting!

This is a very good cookbook. I give it a 3 stars only because I don’t have my kitchen set up for any of these recipes nor do I have many of the ingredients. It is well written and very flexible. I love how she writes about each step in the recipes. Well done and I am to re-read this many times throughout my kitchen and pantry upgrade. Thank you for all your help in this field.
