About this listen

I'm going to make her my queen.

One wedding. One child. Five years. Ten million dollars. Those are the terms of our contract.

My offer is sound, bold, and necessary. In order to gain my inheritance, I have to have a wife.

She thinks her clause will keep me from having her skin on mine. She's very wrong.

The de Loughrey's rule the world, and I am their king. I get what I want, and what I want is her.

I'll have her beneath me no matter what.

Contains mature themes.

I enjoyed this romance. The clash between to economic strata of society makes for difficult relationships. Characters grow. Fears lead to confusions and family members can surprise. All this lead to a romance that is hard to explain and impossible to stop.

I do not like these narrators!! The male sounds like he should be carrying a surfboard while smacking on bubble gum. The voice does not in anyway match the mental picture of a handsome, sophisticated billionaire. Troy Duran has me spoiled.

The female narrator is also not my favorite, but she is better when speed is increased to 1.2 or 1.3.

as for the story it was still good, but I felt bad for O. Shared houses with family, toxic family. No way. Never. I don’t care how rich he is. And he was so rude to her, it’s completely unrealistic to believe she would have put up with that. And the never ending snobbish talk about wealth got annoying. As someone who grew up in privilege it’s not realistic in anyway, probably hasn’t been since regency England. The book was too long because of the never ending wealth dialogue.

Love the story can’t stand the narrators.
