About this listen

A girl. A coma. A life she can't remember. When Emma Walker wakes up in the hospital with no knowledge of how she got there, she learns that she's been in a coma for six months. Strangers show up and claim to be her parents, but she can't remember them. She can't remember anyone. Not her friends, not even her boyfriend. Even though she can't remember, everyone wants her to just pick up where she left off, but what she learns about the 'old her' makes her start to wish she'd never woken up. Her boyfriend breaks up with the new girl he's dating to be with her, her parents want her to start planning for college, her friends want their leader back, and her physical therapist with the hazel eyes keeps his distance to save his position at the hospital. Will she ever feel like she recognizes the girl in the mirror?

It started really good

The main story grabbed me by surprise and I could put it down.
No spoiler; she had an accident and spent 6 months in coma and now she doesn't feel like her old self.
I started wondering what would someone else will think of my life if they had to live it; it really made me think and question several things.
As the love story grows stronger it got a bit boring, she is very dramatic and needy and he is takes an almost heroic part, you can even hear the difference in her voice how she goes from "Im confused" to "I need you so much please" thats why i wont give it 5 stars, but it was a pretty good story.

Has Some Flaws

I gave this book 5 stars only because I read it in one sitting. However, when I come to think about it, there are a fiew flaws which I would like you to know before selecteng it. Emma can't remember her name at the begining. But she remembers that there is something called school which she would like to finish. She remembers what a boy friend is. Suddenly, out of no where, she gets the "correct" sence of right and wrong. It is nice for a book, but would never have worked in real life. Also, everything is extreme. Mayson always does the right thing, his brother is selfish, Emma's friends are bad... Mayson I can understand. But I wanted to know some of the others better. Her parents were very well presented. But they also had flaws. So when you select this book, I would like you to know that it is fine, but lackeslogic.

MC was in high school

Um mid 20s physical therapist starts relationship with high school girl in coma. Creepy. Then the way her friends and family act was weird. What about the psychologist in the hospital being creepy, she just disappeared from the book. Mom calling her the wrong name? No point. Then the end with Andy, what? Oh well.
