About this listen

DO YOU want readers to find your stories un-put-downable?

DO YOU want to create stories readers love?

WRITE GREAT SCENES
gives you a key set of tools to becoming a writer whose works readers can't stop reading.

The most fundamental building block of any novel isn't the character or the plot or anything except the scenes. If you learn how to write great scenes you'll be well on your way to creating novels readers can't put down.

This book breaks down what makes a great scene, the four critical elements every great scene needs, and provides you with an entire toolkit of Page-Turner Techniques you can use every day in your writing to turn ordinary scenes into PAGE-TURNER SCENES!

You also learn how to recognize when a problem exists in a scene and—more importantly—you'll learn how to FIX SCENE PROBLEMS easily and quickly.

Another point of view.

Writing is painting with words, subtleties or bold statements helping to visualize the scene as if you were there, compelled to continue to the next chapter. This book explains that in an extraordinarily easy and comprehensive way to use method to up your game and end result with unforgettable page turners. I will be listening to this again.

Fabulous instructions – – easy to follow

Meg Leader knows what she is talking about. She has been helping writers for decades to improve their work. Listen to her and learn

The “narrator” automaton that did the narration of this book was far better than most that I have encountered. It was a very enjoyable listen-– Even at the higher speed which I listen to my audibles.

Well written, voice fades

Book was great every part was helpful. On my second listening now. Virtual reader was better than some human readers lol it’s a little robotic at first but fades as you get used to it and sounds natural enough

I have mixed feelings about this.

I have mixed feelings about this audiobook. On one hand, the author’s suggestions are excellent. On the other hand, the narration is atrocious. Audible, please use real people to read your selections.
