Sweet romance

This book is a little old fashioned with all of the references to long ago singers like Bing Crosby and Perry Como. At my age I liked that. It's still a pleasant book to read.

Enjoyed this book!

I really liked the Audible version of Wyoming Wildflowers which was narrated by Julia Motyka. It was an easy book to listen to. The narration was easy and pleasant, differentiating between the voices of several characters. It was a sweet, old fashioned love story. I would love to listened to the other books in the series.

A sweet romance!

*I received this in exchange for an honest review.
A sweet romance that shows how love can develop between two people from two completely different worlds. It was definitely a heart-warming story.

Great backstory

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, especially if they have already read the series. I loved learning more about the original love story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Maudie

What does Julia Motyka bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I originally read Almost a Bride. Then listened to the series on Audible. Julia does a fantastic job differentiating between the characters. I had no problem knowing who was taking while listening to this book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Snowberry

Any additional comments?

I received a copy of this book from the author as a promotional gift. There was no agreement for a review of the book. However; I felt honor bound to provide one. I would pay for this novella and highly recommend it, especially to those who have read the other books. It was a wonderful trip back to where it all began.

I enjoyed it

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. I loved the story from the first glance and the pile of luggage until the end. There were several twists that got them to the HEA and beyond. I love that the author took us into 35 years after meeting and showed us that they were still as much in love as they were when they got married. I tried to find the author's books at my public library but was unsuccessful. These books have been out since 2001 it would seem they should be there. I want to listen to all of them but am not keen about spending all of my credits to do so. This book and narrator made me believe that love can happen and endure over time. Great story.

Sweet

Wyoming Wildflowers: The Beginning
: Patricia McLinn

This is a sweet romance that proves two people from totally different walks of life can find love. They both had dreams, but those dreams change. This is where the story began.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Julia Motyka.

Donna💘Ed! Great Story & Great Audible Listen🎧

I adored this enjoyable & heartfelt story, it is well written & well told. The storylines are interesting and captivated me from start to end. Great character development and chemistry between the leads, Donna and Ed. Donna, a stage actress who is part of the ensemble of a national tour production of “Sweet Charity” and their current stop is Denver. Ed is in Denver for a convention and when they see each he knew right away she would be his wife. The two are from different walks of life, she is on the road, hoping to make more of her acting career and he is a rancher of his family ranch, Slash-C Ranch, in Knighton, Wyoming. But they vow to spend as much time together as they can before she heads to her next stop in San Fransisco and he back home to Wyoming. There relationship is a slow build, Ed is a complete gentleman, treats Donna with respect and kindness. Knowing their time is limited they escalate it and fireworks explode for them. I thought they were great for each other. In addition to to their romance, I loved the behind the scenes action of the touring group. I loved the descriptive glance Patricia McLinn included in her story of what life is like for an actor on the road. I was so sad when they parted ways in Denver but so happy that they can to their senses. I will think of this story when ever I see snowberries. Patricia McLinn, thank you for the great & entertaining story, I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.

I listened to the Audible edition, Julia Motyka is a wonderful narrator and voice performer. She brings the characters to life, gives them heart and personalty. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for this great listen🎧

Old fashioned romance at it's finest!

Wyoming Wildflowers by Patricia McLinn is an old fashioned romance that is easy to listen to and very enjoyable. It focuses on Ed Currick's instant attraction to a young lady, Donna Roberts, he meets in the lobby of hotel in Denver. He is a rancher from Wyoming and she is up-and-coming Broadway musical actress on a national tour. Both immediately are drawn to each other and know that the other is "the one." The rest of the story is figuring out each other's priorities and how - and if - they end up together. It is sweet, sensual, and pure brain candy.

I listened to the Audible version of this book narrated by Julia Motyka. She did an outstanding job, differing voices for all of the characters, young and old. Her narration flowed naturally and was easy to listen to. She had the right amount of worry, exasperation, and yearning in all the right places.
