Its a very gripping book and the chapters arent long so its quite easy to listen during the day. very well written.

What made the experience of listening to You the most enjoyable?

I love how the story was able to rationalize the creepiness of the whole affair. I loved and hated and felt everything.

What was one of the most memorable moments of You?

I honestly can't describe it without spoilers. And I wouldn't want to do that to you.

Which character – as performed by Santino Fontana – was your favorite?

Joe, of course. He perfectly conveyed the insanity cloaked by a veneer of normality.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed right out loud in many (many) places, visibly cringed in others.

Any additional comments?

Some of the content was a little too explicit for me. Overall though, I love the pace and sense of humor that fills the book.

I love Joe!! I didn't want to, but damn that's how good Caroline Kepnes writes! I listened in pretty much one day! I couldnt get enough and went straight on to Hidden Bodies (book 2). Santino is an amazing narrator for this story also!! A must read!

It amazes me that Joe thinks of himself as this kind of superior moral authority that is able to point fingers to everything and everyone. He sees everyone else as monsters, when he’s right there in the mirror…

I should have given up after the first chapter, but I persisted. Not worth it. Jo is awful. Bec is awful. The whole book is awful. Huge potential, but never got there.

I'm in a minority here. I dislike the story as i expected the book to be as good as gone girl but gone girl is 100 times better than this. I dont mind the writing style, it's more on the story itself.
