better for newbies

I didn't finish this book because most of the information was so rehashed by multiple frugal living authors over the years that it was boring. This book tells you can make a price notebook, shop sales, and have birthdays at the park.

This will only be a life-changer for you if you have been living above your means or you're not sure how to save money at all.

There were not very many suggestions I heard that were new to me. I also kind of got upset that she mentions shopping at Aldi and using Zaycon fresh. Zaycon fresh went bankrupt and not everyone has an Aldi. again, it goes back to just rehashed ideas.

Outdated and dry

This information felt so outdated, I could have done a search and found all the information I needed but the information really just seemed obvious. There was nothing revolutionary. I didn’t walk away feeling like I had gained any knowledge but wasted my time.
