Publisher's summary

America's Fabulous Freelance Insurance Investigator faces cases of killing for vengeance and keeping silent for honor... "dead" men who won't stay down for long (or alive for much longer)... beneficiaries that can't be found and beautiful mixed up risk-takers who may be out on their last ledge. He pads his expense account in pursuit of stolen jewels, arsonists, crooked cops, and romance, all while he tries to solve matters of murder.

With a versatile voice that projects just the right air of tired world-weariness, leavened by just the right tone of compassion, and just the slightest edge of cynicism, Bob Bailey stars as Johnny Dollar in four half-hour episodes, seven 5-part serials, and one 6-part serial - 45 digitally restored and remastered episodes.

EPISODES INCLUDE: The Chesapeake Fraud Matter 10/17/55 - 10/21/55; The Alvin Summers Matter 10/24/55 - 10/28/55; The Valentine Matter 10/31/55 - 11/04/55; The Broderick Matter 11/14/55 - 11/18/55; The Fathom Five Matter 02/27/56 - 03/02/56; The LaMarr Matter 03/26/56 - 03/30/56; The Open Town Matter 07/23/56 - 07/27/56; The Markham Matter 11/18/56; The Royal Street Matter 11/25/56; The Rasmussen Matter 12/15/56; The Red Mystery Matter 12/20/59; The Kranesburg Matter 8/24/56 - 8/31/56

Memories!

Most of the old timr rasio shows are great and bring back so many memories of my young years listening to them. They made your imagination work full time, and I just love heating them again.

Radio at its best.

Fun from start to finish. Bailey is the best Johnny Dollar, obviously perfectly cast with supporting players equally impressive.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I love Boy Bailey's voice and greatly enjoyed all of these stories! It brings to mind what my mother used to put on the radio when we were kids. I LOVE it!
