About this listen

In the year 2035, homelessness in the United States had reached catastrophic proportions. With the country overwhelmed by the crisis, the President of the United States covertly planned that a secret “Homeless City” would be built to take care of the exploding homeless situation. The city was built and the homeless began being rounded up and taken there by force.
As the last phase of the city was being constructed, a secret underground room from an old abandoned military base was unearthed. The room was empty except for a shimmering mold that coated its cement walls. The mold, when exposed to the air, blew in the wind and spread. As the residents of the city came in contact with the mold, they became sick, some died, but those who died, did not stay dead… They changed…
Homeless City begins…

I like it so far. This is a good build up and had a strong beginning. I hope the author will expand this into a series 🙂

Great potential

Really enjoyed reading this book. Hoping there will be a part two! Definitely will be a great series. Highly recommend to zombie book lovers.

The buildup, excitement and the storyline was great!! Great zombie read!

I like the character build. it took a long time to get to the plot of the story but once you were there it was pretty good. I just kind of hate it ended and I'm wondering if there's a second part or third party if there's another book but it's a great listen.

The virtual voice is boring. Nothing like a human being narrating should reconsider next time

Not a bad story

The story was bad enough. The virtual voice made it worse. This is probably the worst book I've listened to.

Don't waste your time!!

A lot of (IMO) unnecessary build up before we got to the meat of the story. Pardon the pun ;). The backstory of how Hannah lost her apartment, Really?? That could've been left out of the story COMPLETELY, and it wouldn't have changed the outcome at all.

It's like the author wanted to write a soft-P0*Rn novel, with a brief zombie outbreak thrown in!
*The party w/Hannah's boss
*The apartment incidents
*The naked massage from Tiffany
*The many tryst between Jack & Hannah

Also, to do such a slow build up of the story and then turn around and have them turn into zombies in point 3 seconds of infection is wild!!!!

Book was a slow born.
