About this listen

Un2dead (call it un-undead) is a humorous adult sci-fi/horror/fantasy that involves chorizo and egg tacos, a vintage El Camino, a guy that used to be a vampire that has lost his fangs, a green-eyed lady, a granny that hunts wolves and a few other misfits. Yep, it's a love story.

Enjoyable

2022 52 Book Challenge - 45) A Book With Illustrated People On The Cover

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

This was a quirky and enjoyable book. I liked the vampires, I liked the friendships, I liked the rabbit. It was a fun read, and the narrator was really good.

Great book and narration

What a fun book this was. The author took a lighthearted approach to a rapidly expanding list of vampire/werewolf/immortal beings. He managed a story line that included the aforementioned as well as a would be crotchety old grandmother along with a little time travel thrown in for good measure. His sometimes well meaning but bumbling characters managed to maintain a pace that kept me listening till the end. Sadly end it did, and now I have to wait to see if there will be a second book. Rebekah Nemethy did an outstanding job with the narration making all of Bill's characters come alive! Or, un2dead?

Fun Characters

What did you love best about un2dead?

I loved the characters they all had their own funny traits and would be interested in see them again.

What about Rebekah Nemethy’s performance did you like?

She gives the different characters their own voice. I didn’t love them all but I liked that they were unique.

Any additional comments?
