God, being all-sufficient and all-loving, does not require anything from man. (Psa 50:12 KJV If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.) Why then does God place certain demands on man? Beyond our external acts of obedience, what does He really seek? What must be the attitude of the man who seeks to obey the instructions of God so that his heart can be brought into a state of obedience?

In this series preached during the August 2024 Special Program held in Kumasi, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates how God makes the heart (will) of man pliable and agreeable to the Divine will. He reveals that a face-to-face encounter with God is necessary for one to be driven (triggered) by God, in order to manifest the full strength of His power.

In this message, “Obedience And Sacrifice”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter shows why a heart that is aligned to the will of God is superior to external acts of obedience. He goes on to explain the processes by which God inscribes His laws on our rebellious hearts (the opening of the ear); thus, bringing us into a face-to-face encounter with God. From this encounter, our inward parts are truly transformed, and we are empowered by the Lord Himself to bring forth Divine uses.
