  • Summary

  • Pastor Jeffrey Walter is a firm believer in the fact that faith ought to be reasonable, and that man cannot come to genuine faith except through the process of reason and the genuine practise of what is to be believed. It is his vision to see a Christianity that truly changes man and practically produces in him love for the Lord and the neighbour: which will undoubtedly lead to the transformation of society.

  • 04 LRMMA Feb 25 Kumasi - The Origin Of The Male And Female Gender
    Feb 14 2025

It is evident that males and females are different. A lack of understanding of the differences have led to both genders claiming superiority, as well as strange mindsets and illusions from hell about relationships and marriage at large. However, according to the Scriptures, God created the world and everything in it from Himself, and mankind (male and female) is no exception. To wit, mankind, which is God’s chief creation, corresponds to the two (2) spiritual principles in God - Love and wisdom.

In a time where marriage is under attack, Pastor Jeffrey Walter is inspired by the Lord to restore sanity and hope in marriage by painting vividly what God intends marriage to be. Throughout the month of February, by the series, “Love, Relationships, Marriage and Matters Arising”, he presents godly wisdom on what the Lord intends for marriage to be, as well as the prescribed methods by which it is to be engaged in.

In this message, “The Origin of the Male and Female Gender”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter ascribes the differences in the male and female gender to God. He establishes that males represent wisdom/truth whilst females represent love/affection, and that both genders are incomplete when in isolation. He shows how by dealing with each other according to the word of God in marriage, men gain love, and women gain wisdom. Finally, Pastor Walter explains how friendship between married couples joins them together (i.e. cleaving) and presents a practical approach to cleaving, with the wife-representing love/affections leading the way.

    Key Scripture

    Genesis 1:26-27 (KJV)

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

  • 03 LRMMA Feb 25 Kumasi | How To Be Miserable In Marriage - Part 2
    Feb 13 2025

Many people in this generation despise marriage. It is no longer regarded as a spiritual institution ordained by God for our true happiness (i.e., happiness as determined by the Lord). If marriage is to be enjoyed, it must be on God’s terms. How must we engage in marriage, in order to enjoy the eternal bliss reserved in it for us?

In a time where marriage is under attack, Pastor Jeffrey Walter is inspired by the Lord to restore sanity and hope in marriage by painting vividly what God intends marriage to be. Throughout the month of February, by the series, “Love, Relationships, Marriage and Matters Arising”, he presents godly wisdom on what the Lord intends for marriage to be, as well as the prescribed methods by which it is to be engaged in.

In this message, “How To Be Miserable In Marriage - Part 2”, Pastor Walter affirms that only those who are spiritual can succeed in marriage. He passionately continues to expose some of the wrong expectations which bring us misery in marriage. He demonstrates practically how our ego brings us misery in marriage. Further, he reveals that friendship (like-mindedness based on spirituality) is not automatic in marriage. He goes on to reveal how this friendship can be achieved.

Beloved, although these wrong expectations come to us naturally, we must continually stop ourselves from having these expectations, as we engage in marriage. You can enjoy true marital bliss by following divinely ordained principles.

  • 02 LRMMA Feb 25 Kumasi | How To Be Miserable In Marriage - Part 1
    Feb 9 2025

For everything God instituted, there is a reason and a prescribed method. As is the case for marriage, if we engage in it with the right reason in mind, and by the right method, we enter into its associated bliss as intended by God. If we however abuse it, we enter into misery. What is God's intended purpose and prescribed method for marriage? What are some unrealistic expectations in marriage and how do these make us miserable?

In a time where marriage is under attack, Pastor Jeffrey Walter is inspired by the Lord to restore sanity and hope in marriage by painting vividly what God intends marriage to be. Throughout the month of February, by the series, “Love, Relationships, Marriage and Matters Arising”, he presents godly wisdom on what the Lord intends for marriage to be, as well as the prescribed methods by which it is to be engaged in.

In this message, Pastor Jeffrey Walter emphasises the need to do marriage for the right reason, and in the way prescribed by the Lord. He introduces the idea of “expectations” and how they can contribute to misery in marriage. He distinguishes between primary expectations and secondary expectations, teaching what the actual primary expectation of a person should be in a marriage, according to God’s principles. He then goes on to highlight two examples of wrong expectations that spouses have in marriage, and how those ruin the marital union, bringing misery.

Beloved, do not think to yourself that your marriage experience will be different, if you exchange the wisdom of God concerning marriage for your own selfish desires. The way of the Lord is the way of wisdom. Choose it! Choose joy!
