In this episode we speak with Cathy Williams from Melbourne, Australia.
Cathy is an Expressive Arts & Movement Therapist leading participants through art experience workshops to reconnect with their inner need for expression.

She tells us about the features of her workshop, reminding participants to nurture the dialogue between the mind, the heart and the body, whilst overcoming resistance to feeling and expressing from the body. Her aim is to create a space where people can deeply listen and reconnect to themselves and their intuition.

Most people look for external validation. Cathy underlines the importance of making decisions that are in alignment with our intuition and validate ourselves internally.
When we ignore our intuition, we stay in a state of confusion. She shares a personal experience where she entered an emotionally abusive relationship because she listened to her mind instead of her gut.

She explains why everyone has the capacity for creativity, what barriers people face when wanting to be creative and how there are endless outlets for expressing our creativity. Facing these barriers, her participants break free from these barriers to feeling more confident in their bodies and minds.

Cathy released her book "Body Wisdom", which offers exercises and animations for people to reconnect whilst seeking their creativity, expression and embodiment.
