  • S7 - Relationship Tool #20: Being Present
    Apr 30 2025

For most of his life, Brian believed that his primary challenge in relationships was mastering the tool of "being present." He thought that if he could just fully grasp this skill, everything in his life and relationships would significantly improve. However, regular listeners to this podcast will recognize that this belief was far from accurate. We discuss how he understood the tool of being present in his past relationships and how he uses it now, in the present.

An absolutely helpful story for anyone who is going through a similar problem or knows someone who is going through it. For me personally, this is very helpful, and thank you very much.

Great great story

I was on board with most of the insights and stories. I could definitely give a much higher rating. However they got into some areas where they started talking about some things they had little knowledge or experience about with a condecending expert tone. Particularly 12 step. Should have just left it at "not for me". No need to down talk millions of people. The negatives you put forth represented that you didn't take the time to understand it at all.

Good insight but falls short
