After the tragedy of violence in Georgia I felt compelled to dive into my thoughts on preparation for active violence. I spent 15 years as a full time police officer, 6 of those years serving as a School Resource Officer and conducted numerous investigations into threats of active violence as well as trained over 10,000 teachers and students in response.
