    Walking and jogging are often promoted as effective entry-level exercises for long-term health, but did you know that the key to strengthening muscle function may lie in anaerobic exercise? This week on Aging Less: The Longevity Science Insights Podcast, host Marie Stella interviews exercise scientist Associate Professor Justin Keogh. Also a behavioral researcher, Associate Professor Justin Keogh is the Associate Dean of Research and the Head of Exercise and Sports Science at Bond University. His research focuses on better understanding the relationship between muscle mass, strength and physical performance in athletes as well as older adults at risk of disability and poor health outcomes. Impressively, to better translate his research evidence, he uses a variety of qualitative approaches to better understand the determinants of physical activity and exercise in a variety of older adult groups.
