    This intimate talk with Jenny Maria De La Luz in the Awaken to Love South Africa community centers around trust—not as something related to people, but as a state of mind rooted in the Spirit. Jenny Maria shares how trust is built through moment-to-moment presence, prayer, and a willingness to transcend identification with littleness.

    Oftentimes, a genuine trust can be developed as the “leader-follower” dynamic is experienced. When one mind is clearer or more attuned to Spirit, it can be helpful for that person to gently lead, allowing the other to rest in trust and just follow. A touching example of this is found in Grego’s song You Lead, I Follow, inspired by a time when he was being led by his partner while going through a vulnerable time. The lyrics express a heartfelt devotion to trust and the shared journey home, capturing the essence of surrender and the beauty of walking together in purpose.

    At the end of the talk, Jenny Maria reflects on the healing power of direct communication, showing how true trust can receive direction from love, without defence. Through these explorations, Jenny and the community demonstrate how trust in Spirit—not personalities—is the foundation of genuine connection and accelerated healing.

    Rather than dismiss everyday annoyances as irrelevant, this talk reveals how such experiences are rich with potential for awakening.
