  • We will not be robbed of our song! Psalms 13 and 21
    May 25 2025

Pastor Steve shares from two Psalms, occasioned by two contrasting seasons in the life of king David. It's probably easy to sing with the victory of Psalm 21, but what do we do in the season of trial and lamentation? From Psalm 13 we learn that it’s OK to ask God “Why?” and “How long?”. We learn how to use the words of the Psalms to lament, confident that God’s Spirit works in us with and through these words. Alone with Jesus, and with trusted friends we can find a safe place to express our feelings, to find a truth we can rejoice in, and to recall a testimony from which we draw hope. Because of Jesus, we have a song on any and every season!

  • Communion
    May 4 2025

    Communion

Pastor Steve takes us back to when Jesus introduces the new covenant meal that we call communion. Sharing from the Gospels and Paul’s writings, Pastor Steve shows how this celebration looks back to Jesus and the physical reality of His passion. In the bread and wine Jesus meets us in the present - His risen presence can be encountered in a special way. And we look to the future - to the time when Jesus will “return in glory and splendour” and transform our physical bodies into a new creation body like his own.

  • Centrality of the Cross
    Apr 20 2025

"The risen Lord Jesus wants you to want to know Him better." Pastor Dave Green invites us to respond to Jesus' call to know him more, not as a a figure in history but as our risen Lord and Saviour. He can meet you - whether you are on the Emmaus road - confused and disheartened, on the Damascus Road, angry and vengeful, or just wanting to walk the narrow road of discipleship. Through songs, quotes, books, circumstances, other people, the Holy Spirit can make Jesus known to you. How is He doing that in your life today? Ask the Holy Spirit to point you to Jesus.
