Taking us the last chapter of the book of Acts, chapter 28, he encourages to see ourselves as people who are writing chapter 29. Gavin inspires us in three areas: Look wider, and share God’s heart for the lost. Be bolder - we have tremendous freedom to share the gospel, these are times when many doubters are becoming believers, and are happy to have respectful conversations with Christians. What does it mean to be consecrated to God? Pastor Steve shows us how Peter learned the meaning of consecration from Jesus - making Him Lord, loving Him, and Peter's experiences both of Christ’s call and His renewal. How do we respond to Jesus? We can follow Him at a distance, with Him in the rear-view mirror, or keep Him front and centre. If we are drifting, we can be encouraged that “Wherever you are as a follower of Jesus there is a way back,” and that when we draw near to the Father He will draw near to us. Join Pastor Steve as ee pray in response: “Wherever you lead, I will go. Whatever the cost, I’m wholly yours. I consecrate my life to you.”
