As co-host of The Global podcast, he explores areas of the localization industry that spark his own curiosity and he then shares it with the industry at large. Panelists: Sébastien Bratières joined Translated in 2017 to develop its machine learning operations and oversee the company's applied research program. Together with Translated's CEO Marco Trombetti, Sébastien created Pi School of AI, a hands-on training program, currently in its 8th edition with 156 trained AI engineers. Vikram Modgil is an AI practitioner with more than 18 years of Vision & Speech AI experience. He has been part of many successful startups such as Mu Sigma ($1.2B), Fractal ($0.6B) as well as AI SaaS companies like Teradata. He has a software engineering degree and is also the founder of the AI ethics community, TheGoodAI.org. Vikram leads the growth team at Symbl AI (an Amazon back speech AI developer platform). Jorge Ferreiro is a Spanish software engineer and growth product manager at Streamyard (Hopin), leading international expansion. He is obsessed with making products accessible, free of language barriers. ️He formerly worked at Eventbrite and Amazon, and loves live-streaming and virtual events. Smrati Gupta is the Data Analytics Lead at Microsoft Teams. She has 11 years of experience in building data models in pure academic environments for satellite communication to apply data driven machine learning solutions in products of domains such as gaming, video streaming, and enterprise software. She has previously held positions at Xbox, Broadcom, and CA Technologies. She holds a PhD in Telecommunications and Systems Engineering.
