  • Ep 43, Pep Talk: What are you going to do in 2021 to challenge yourself & get out of your comfort zone?
    Jan 23 2021

Since we are in our new year, that means its a new year to challenge ourselves and to get out of our comfort zones. Instead of just setting new years resolutions that most people have a hard time sticking to by the end of the month. Why don’t you try to think of goals you want to achieve this year and think of things that will actually challenge you to be a better version of yourself than you are. The important part of goal planning and creating new challenges for yourself isn’t just about making millions of dollars, or to stress yourself out with a list of all these desires. The purpose of having goals and planning them out strategically is to help you to grow as a person, to get more educated, be ambitious, to help push you to put yourself in new situations, get out of your comfort zone, and just look at how you can have more of the joys you want in your life now because life is happening now. Listen to my big 3 takeaways and the key to hitting your goals this year that I discussed in this episode and lets get ready to crush our goals this year!

  • Ep 41, Pep Talk: Happy New Year, What is your Word for 2021?
    Jan 3 2021

Think of a word that describes your theme for the new year. My word for 2020 was acceptance because i had to accept that I lost my job, had to postpone my wedding several times, accept I have gut and thyroid issues that I had to get professional help with, and learning to accept every single plan I made that I couldn’t have because of the pandemic, that word helped me cope after I did my own mourning and realized I needed to take massive action to be in the energy and mood I needed to be in, and to have the right mindset in creating this podcast to help be here and inspire all of you. By having a word as your theme for the year it can help keep you accountable when you feel at a loss and need something to go back to , to remind you what your goals are and what you want in this life, and what will help you to move forward from new challenges. My word for 2021 is Opportunity! I chose opportunity as my word because I’m going to create new opportunities for myself for my business to grow bigger, new opportunities to meet new people virtually through new guest interviews of this podcast, opportunities to connect to loved ones, opportunities to continue to work on reaching my optimal health, opportunities to continue my education in personal development, adventure opportunities, relationship opportunities to continue to learn how to be the best partner to my husband, and any lesson that comes my way. I will look at every lesson as an opportunity to listen, learn, apply, and then act. When you choose your word remember this is your life. What is important to me will not be important to you. So think of what is important to you and get excited for the new opportunities coming your way. 2021 is going to be a beautiful year so go with the flow, listen to what you need, do what you can control, take action, be kind to yourself, learn to relax, prioritize your health, and remember to Design Your Happiness!

  • Ep 40, HIS & HERS: Our Health is Our Wealth
    Dec 24 2020

I am so excited because this is not only episode 40 of the show, it also the first episode of a new segment of Design Your Happiness Podcast called His and Hers with my amazing husband Mike Blair. I know how much you all enjoyed listening to his first interview on the show which was episode number 7, so I am excited to bring him back on the show today and in future episodes in our joint collaboration of the His & Hers segment.

This episode is really special to me because we are discussing the importance of our health and how big of a factor it is to take care of our health while we can. This year has presented various challenges for so many people, and for me some of my personal challenges this year have been with my health primarily my gut health and finally dealing with my thyroid. And because of these experiences it forced me to get educated on how to take better care of my health and to become much more educated on how to improve to have a better immune system and truly learn what it takes to reach my optimal health.

And optimal health is something that is so important to my husband as well as he's always been focused on living a healthy lifestyle. We aren’t perfect, we aren’t fitness trainers, scientists, or experts in the health world. But we are real people prioritizing our health now more than ever, and we are friends with experts in the health world, and amazing doctors who have educated us a great deal to learn what we can to be the healthiest we have ever been. This episode is to spark you to guide you in your own optimal health journey and to start asking questions, start listening to your body, start reading nutrition labels to know what you are putting inside of your body, start researching, find out where you can avoid chemicals, and research experts and holistic doctors in the health world to help you with reaching your optimal health.

  • Ep 38, PEP TALK: A grateful heart leads to a happier life; What are you thankful for?
    Dec 2 2020

I hope you all had an amazing thanksgiving and holiday weekend for those of you that celebrate it. In honor of thanksgiving I wanted to focus this episode on the spirit of giving thanks for all we have and counting our blessings. Sometimes we get so focused on what we don't have, or always wanting more, which is great to have big dreams, and big goals, but make sure to enjoy what you currently have. I know it's been one of the toughest years for a lot of people, but is important to be thankful for all of the incredible things we do have. From all the little things to all the big things. When you are thankful for all you have it will lead you to an abundant filled and happier life. And it will make the hard times better.
