We made it to Season 2 Finale! I really enjoyed this season, all the ups and downs, and this episode is no different. Jason Padilla is the head instructor of Gracie Jiu Jitsu of Grand Junction, CO. He is a veteran, husband, and father, and he is such a compassionate and kind jiujitsu teacher. I met Jason when I was fresh out of the hospital and I was seriously trying to find my footing. I moved across the state and found his program. I met his wife and children and they welcomed me immediately.

We talk about how Jiu Jitsu should be practiced and he demonstrated those morals each time I met with him. It's an absolute honor to be connected with him and his family. They made a mark on my life and help changed the trajectory of my martial arts career for the better.

Jason got to meet the Grand Master Helio Gracie as well as several of his family member. He's the representative for the Gracie family on the Western Slope in Colorado. He has great wisdom to share! Take a listen to this episode!
