  • Summary

  • Police in Manhattan and Lawrence, Kansas, along with the U.S. Marshals, turn to the public for help to identify the Kansas College Rapist. Meanwhile, one of the survivors leads an effort to change a Kansas state law that says the crime of rape must be prosecuted within five years. Excellent series, highly recommend

This was a difficult listen, but so glad these brave women got to tell their stories. It would be great if the outcome results in the arrest of this rapist.
Francey you are awesome no matter what Jim says😀 😂

Wonderful for women

Wish more people from Kansas could listen to find more info. I pray for the women that had to endure this.

So important to Listen to this.

Francey and everyone who contributed to this project did a magnificent job. As the listener I felt like I was equipped with enough knowledge to spread awareness & do my part to help. To the victims, you are so strong! I hope that this series can help other possible victims come forward and find the help that they need.

Compelling!

Loved the way this story was told. Very sad to listen to the victims telling it. Hard to believe and yet not hard to believe that this guy hasn’t been caught. Heard about the story from the Best Case Worse Case podcast with Hakes and Clemente. Riveting!

Bravo to these women

It takes so much bravery and courage to come forward after things like this happen. I was horrified to hear how the first college dealt with the video taped incident and even more devastated that it happened to this woman again. My hats off to each of the women with the strength to come forward and share their stories and I wish there were more officers in PD who could listen and be understanding. I pray this man will be found one day and want him to know how much of a coward he is for doing this to women. More stories need to be shared like this to change the way society ignores it and wears their rose colored glasses. Great narration and easy listen. Bravo.

Glad to finally learn more

I have been wanting to know more about these crimes for quite awhile. I lived very close to several of these assaults and didn't know about them until 2008. These ladies are very brave. Thank you for telling your stories. I wish this podcast was on more platforms.
