  • Summary

  • After working with Jane Fonda on The Newsroom, I got a request from the LA Press Association to write a song for their tribute dinner honoring her career. That song became “Abs, Buns And Thighs.” As a five-time Golden Globe nominee, I reflect on what the Globes really mean and why I subsequently wore a flannel shirt instead of a tuxedo, which leads to the song co-written with Tom Paxton, “Remember the Memo.”

I love Jeff Daniels

Totally enjoyed this. What a talented, wonderful, down to earth guy. I so wish I could have seen his performance as Atticus.

Stories, songs, sketches, oh my! 100% worth the listen 🔥

Truly enjoyed this series. It’s funny, interesting, and was unexpectedly deeply inspiring for me. I never disliked Jeff Daniels but now I think I’m a huge fan. So much creativity and playfulness in this podcast and it is a delight to experience. Please keep going for more seasons!!
