• EP 3: The Outcomes
    Mar 28 2024

Research shows many younger people are feeling unhappy. And while they may want to do something to improve their mood, the endless advice from books, articles and podcasts about how to be happier is overwhelming.

Enter an inquiring group of journalism students at the University of King's College, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. They set up an experiment to put some of that happiness advice to the test.

They recruited volunteers who agreed to try some of the most commonly recommended happiness-boosting strategies and report back in interviews and audio diaries.

In a three-part podcast series, the students investigate whether activities such exercise, meditating or spending time in nature can really make you happier.
