Carmen Colon, Wanda Walkowicz, and Michelle Maenza were out running errands when they were abducted - and witnesses saw various parts of the incidents, they were all found murdered within days of their disappearances. Despite evidence being found and multiple suspects being investigated, their cases went cold. They became known as the Alphabet Murders due to each victims’ first and last names starting with the same letter. But was this intentional by the killer, or just a coincidence?     Nicole Morin was an 8-year-old girl who disappeared on July 30, 1985, in Toronto, Canada. She lived with her mother in a 20th-floor penthouse apartment in Etobicoke. That morning, Nicole left her apartment to meet a friend in the lobby for a swim date but never arrived. She was last seen wearing a peach-colored bathing suit, green hairband, and red canvas shoes, carrying a bag with her swim essentials.Her disappearance sparked the largest missing-person investigation in Toronto's history. Police formed a 20-member task force and conducted extensive searches, but no physical evidence or leads ever surfaced. Over the years, age-progressed images of Nicole have been released to keep the case in the public eye, but it remains unsolved. In 2024, he was convicted of the double murder of Michelle Xavier and Jennifer Duey from 1986. And now, Misch is awaiting trial for the 1988 abduction and murder of Michaela Garecht.     Michaela Garecht was enjoying the start to her Thanksgiving break in November 1988 when she and her best friend rode their scooters to the market in Hayward, California. As they left, the 9 year old girls noticed that Michaela’s scooter was not at the entrance, but had been moved to the parking lot. As she went to grab her scooter, a man jumped out of the van next to her and in one fell swoop, threw her into the van and drove off. Unfortunately, Michaela has never been found, but after over three decades as a cold case, in 2020 a man was charged with her murder.
