In addition to serving on the front lines to selflessly protect Am Yisrael, Ira is a childhood friend of Omer ben Orna Esther, and he bravely shares a bit about this friendship. We recorded this interview 8 days before it was announced that Omer Neutra (thought to be a hostage) was murdered on 10/7/2023. It is heartbreaking to learn of his death.

    Any inspiration gleaned from this powerful episode should serve as a merit to elevate the souls of three of Ira's friends: Omer ben Orna Esther Neutra, Amir Naim and Yair Avitan, each of whom gave his life protecting his people and his land.
