The help that a business owner can get from a bookkeeper, accountant, CPA, or tax preparer can vary, and the level of expertise and amount of time required varies as well. The main point here is that all business owners need to understand their business finances, whether they are doing their own bookkeeping or if they have someone else generating their financial statements for them.
