In this episode, Amy Lee, the executive director of the OK Council for Economic Education (OCEE), and Dr. Sue Lynn Sasser, professor emeritus in economics discuss the importance of financial literacy. They have worked for several years to improve the education standards in Oklahoma for both personal finance and economics. We discuss those efforts, programs the OCEE have to help students and teachers, and why students need to understand the basics of personal finance and economics.

In this episode, Emily and James visit with Santiago Ramones, one of the producers for Not My Generation, about his process to becoming a U.S. citizen. Along the way, we learn the difference between Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, permanent lawful resident ("Green Card" holders) status, and citizenship.
