  • If You Can’t Get Over Your Ex—Listen to This! (7 Steps to Stop Obsessing and FINALLY Move on After a Breakup)
    Jun 20 2025

Do you still think about your ex a lot?

What’s been the hardest part of moving on?

Today, Jay shares a heartfelt and practical guide for anyone moving through heartbreak. He explains that the pain of a breakup often comes from more than just losing someone, but it’s grieving the life we imagined with them and the version of ourselves we felt when we were loved.

Jay walks through seven clear steps to help listeners begin their healing journey. From gaining clarity to quieting the overthinking spiral and finding your own closure, he offers real, actionable tools to help you move forward. Jay reminds listeners that you’re not missing them, you’re missing the idea of them. And that pain doesn’t mean the relationship was meant to be, it means you cared.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

How to Stop Romanticizing the Past

    How to Stop Blaming Yourself

How to Rebuild After a Breakup

    How to Trust Yourself Again

How to Know It Wasn’t Love

Healing is possible even if it doesn't feel like it right now. It’s not about getting back to who you were before, it’s about becoming someone stronger, wiser, and more self-aware.

    With Love and Gratitude,

    Jay Shetty

What does “financial freedom” mean to you?

What’s one thing you wish you learned about money earlier?

In this On Purpose compilation episode, Jay Shetty brings together leading voices in business, money, and mindset—Scott Galloway, Codie Sanchez, Lewis Howes, and Jaspreet Singh—to break down what it really means to build wealth in today’s world.

This episode explores the gap between surviving and thriving—and why mindset, habits, and practical skills matter just as much (if not more) than how much you earn. Whether you're in your 20s navigating debt, in your 40s reassessing your financial goals, or simply someone who wants more clarity around money—this conversation is for you.

Shift From a Scarcity Mindset to an Abundance Mindset.

Use The Skills You Have To Create Financial Freedom.

Ditch the Lies You’ve Been Told About Money.

Make Smarter, Long-Term Moves With Money—Without Overwhelm.

Through personal stories, real strategies, and mindset shifts, Jay and his guests offer a new way to think about wealth—not as a number, but as a lifestyle built on freedom, stability, and purpose.

Whether you feel stuck, uncertain, or just ready for a smarter approach to money, this episode will give you the mindset and tools to move forward with confidence.

True wealth isn’t about how much you earn—it’s about how well you build.

Start building the life you actually want, one smart decision at a time.

  • Cynthia Erivo: ‘I Was Working To Prove That I Was Worth Loving’ (How to Finally Let Go of the Need For Approval & Build Real Self-Worth)
    Jun 16 2025

Do you ever feel like you need others to approve of your choices?

When was the last time you did something just for yourself?

In this heartfelt episode of On Purpose, Jay Shetty sits down with award-winning actress and singer Cynthia Erivo for a raw and inspiring conversation. Cynthia opens up about her whirlwind year—filming back to back movies, performing at the Oscars, and pouring her soul into her deeply personal new album, I Forgive You. Even in the busiest seasons of her life, Cynthia is discovering the power of stillness—making space to rest, reset, and care for herself mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Cynthia opens up about the emotional weight she’s carried—the pain of feeling abandoned by her father and the relentless pressure to keep proving herself. She and Jay explore the exhausting chase for external approval—and how it often leads to burnout, disconnection, and a version of success that doesn’t feel like yours. Cynthia’s path has been one of unlearning—releasing fear-based patterns and learning to create from a place of wholeness. Her journey is one of deep self-reflection and healing, which shines through in her new music.

Together, Jay and Cynthia unpack what it really means to own your truth, make peace with your past, and finally feel at home in the present. Cynthia’s stories of heartbreak, transformation, and creative rebirth offer powerful insights for anyone navigating change or searching for their purpose. This episode is rich with wisdom, warmth, and a reminder that healing and growth are always possible.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

How to Build Daily Habits That Ground You Anywhere

How to Embrace Rest Without Guilt

How to Heal from the Need for External Validation

How to Let Go of the Pressure to Overachieve

How to Share Your True Self Without Fear

How to Create from a Place of Love, Not Pain

Whether you’re navigating heartbreak, chasing your dreams, or simply learning how to slow down, know this: you are allowed to evolve, to let go, and to begin again.

I've been listening to On Purpose for over a year consistently, it is my Monday pick me up before work. It's always very motivating and it reminds me that I don't need to scare and stress about Monday, instead, it's a new opportunity to do what I want.

I've also follow Jay's meditation on YouTube and there's a funny experience I 'd like to share. Recently, I've taken a free dive class to experience something new. In order to calm my breath, the first thing that came to my mind was Jay' s voice saying " Calm, Balance & Peace" with the same amount of pauses he always said it, that boosted my courage to dive down into the ocean, to experience the unknown, it was wonderful.

Thank you again for the work that you've done.
