Lisa recently retired from the sports and entertainment industry after nearly three decades, and is a mastermind of developing and implementing ingenious activation programs for high profile clients and brands at prominent events, like the FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games, Murray is an industry heavyweight who has won numerous awards. She has been named one of Ad-week’s 35 powerful women in sports, SportsBusiness Journal’s 20 most influential women in the industry, and was named to Sporting News annual “Power 100” list. In this engaging conversation, Lisa shares her journey from growing up in Long Island to navigating a successful career in sports marketing, highlighting the challenges and triumphs of being a woman in a male-dominated industry. She reflects on her college years, early career experiences, and the importance of mentorship. Lisa also discusses her retirement, the joys of travel, and her desire to explore more of the U.S. while emphasizing the value of believing in oneself and others. His new film "The Games in Black and White". For this exciting new film Bob Judson and George Hirthler aim to shine a light on the partnership that brought the Olympic Games to Atlanta in the first place – that between businessman Billy Payne and Civil Rights icon Andrew Young. The film is playing at this year’s Atlanta Film Festival on April 26 at the Rialto Center for the Arts.
