We got to hang with MR. Delabouche this weekend, and learn about what he does with his Vetmaps program. What an interesting discussion and an amazing couple - James and Wendy! They have all information you need if medical cannabis is the way you want to try. Jonathan: Fighting the war within! Music on this episode was brought in by Robert DePrato, a name new to us on The People’s Patriot Project. Bob was a part of Special Forces and has struggled with PTSD and TBI, receiving a Purple Heart for his troubles. 2005 -2024 in groups. He wasn’t a video gamer, so he taught himself to play guitar in between deployments. Around 2020, he found himself having to deal with a lot of untreated trauma and it all blew over in 2021. Through all of this time he found that music was one of the things that helped him deal with all of the struggles. His influence in music comes from Johnny Cash, Jimmy Hendricks. Since getting out of the military Bob has written over 60 songs and continues to write and improve his songwriting talent. The first song of the night was What Would JC Do? This song was a mix of a real life story from a Marine Raider and a love for Johnny Cash music. Second song was No Way To Die. It’s a song about his friend Robbie Miller. Robbie was stuck on a ridgeline and charged the enemy taking out 12 before succumbing to his wounds, allowing his team to make it out. Robbie was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. Bob would like to go back to school, start a business and all while getting his music off the ground. Sounds like he’s gonna be a busy, busy man. His last song of the night was called Fighting Men. This one is about going to war, coming back and dealing with the transitions and the trauma left from the war. Fighting Men is about those that go to war and have to come back home and continue the fight. Sometimes the fight never ends. . We have Amanda Brown on this episode, to share her mission with Battlin’ Betties! She brought her friend, Sara, and her husband, Jeremy (president of the Tenn. US Veterans Motorcycle Club - 100% Veterans helping Veterans, picking up any slack that is not taken care of otherwise - veteran brotherhood) with her to share all they have been up to! Jeremy has such an awesome Wreaths Across America story to share, and you can hear it on this show! Amanda is a hard - working Battlin Betty, and her passion is to raise sponsors for the wreaths it takes to cover the veteran headstones in her cemetery down there in Tennessee and to support all that is first responder and veteran-related needs. Dawn Rix (link arms and go out on our way) is here to share what she has been up to since the last visit. Dawn is the most sweetest and most talented friend a person could have. The first song Dawn shares tonight is Chosen One. Dawn shared that this one was written in memory of her cousin and her loved one who were in a motorcycle accident and lost their lives … she was given advice about life and how to be the happiest before this happened, and Dawn came up with this song. The second song from Dawn came right after a tight discussion about where we are as a country and a world when it comes to safety, security and the good old days… this song is called “America” and it is simply amazing. We finished off the evening with one more song from Dawn called “Bent Not Broken”. While we did not get the story behind the song, we know that it comes from Dawn’s heart. We have the pleasure of having Dr. Pamela Arnell on the show, and she is a vibrant and passionate person with an equally great big heart! Pam shares her passion to help throught the 22ZERO mission, and she has taken this on headfirst. There is a part of this where she shares how the trauma can be dealt with by transferring it through parts of the brain. It is so crazy interesting! Pam is so busy, she is on study panels and boards for research at ASU, and all the while she is on the board of 22ZERO and running the plans behind the screen. All these studies and research are showing amazing results with the process that 22ZERO provides, and the results are amazing! Mike Corrado joins us for this episode, and he walks us through the healing properties of music. “Music is food, it is food for the soul.” Two more songs will be coming out soon - I’m Alive and I Got You. The 1st song was called Stand. It is about empowerment and getting through it. Mike is working with others to put together more like this. The 2nd song is Still in the Fight - He was working with Wounded Warrior Regiment, and he met a survivor of an IED incident who is in the video. Spanky was one of the first redeployed with a prosthetic and … and then Kyle Carpenter is on it and Mike was working with him also when he was writing this song he checked with them — go check out that video! The last song Mike shares with us is I Got You - there are a lot of people out there that are in the same boat, and then there are many people out there that are here to help - they exemplify the ‘I’ in I Got You. We have the pleasure of visiting with Mr. Aaron Hale, who shares where his story started, and where he is today. When tragedy hits and we fall to the bottom of our despair, will we lay down and succumb, or will we pick ourselves up and get moving. One of Aaron’s responses is “What else was I going to do?” He is all positivity, and deals with things one step at a time. With a beautiful family to take care of, he strives to be better every day. And when life is not cherries, you can change up the recipe! “The story of my struggle might be the blueprint to someone else’s survival.” On this episode, we chose to pick three songs that we have not played in a while. You will hear Mr. Tim McDonald for his rendition of a Ray Wylie Hubbard song called Snake Farm. It’s an upbeat kinda funny song that you just have to hear. Next, we played one of those songs that just speaks life into almost any day, Life Is Good by Steven John. The reason this song was chosen was due to our guest, Aaron Hale. He kept saying over and over that he wanted to live life to the fullest. He seems that despite his injuries, he has chosen to look at life and let it be good for himself. Lastly, we played Sal Gonzales’ Heroes. Such a powerful song. Sal has been with us for a while and this is one of his songs that can get you in the feels. We enjoy visiting with Tami McVay and hearing about her mission, One of the Few. Tami shares her backstory and what landed her where she is and why she wanted to start the One of the Few mission. She loves being involved and her Marine roots run deep and strong! She shows up and she listens and that is the gift. She tries to share this gift not only to help but also to train others to help this cause. We have an incredible musician to share this week, Tim McDonald! Tim shares his reasons for joining the military and what brought him to find his passion for music! Imagine looking for your job, you get to the letter P alphabetically, and you ask what is Piano??? And there he went! Mark Chesnutt, Blake Shelton, Olivia Newton-John, and Hank Williams are just some of the musicians he has worked with. His first song was about losing a good friend in the military whether it’s from ETS, PCS, or loss of life and having to go visit them in their new home, Arlington…It is titled Livin’, Breathin’, Having Fun. The second song of the show is Snake Farm. This song is a cult classic originally sung by Ray Wylie Hubbard. It’s one of those songs that you just have to hear. It just sounds nasty. It pretty much is. The last song is called Encore because every show needs one. It’s about hanging with the girl you like and enjoying the Encore. We have the pleasure of meeting Keri Anne Wilcox and hearing about her mission, Valor Ranch Texas. Keri is a gold star wife, and shares the joy of running this mission with her partner, Josh. They have such a great vibe, and the energy shows in the way they share the story of helping others. While the mission is geared toward women who have served, they are open to all. Women seem to be left behind a little differently, and the Ranch is there to help support and get them back on their feet. Big things coming up include increasing they healing garden and then adding more tiny cottages!!! This will open up more opportunities, but will also allow them to care for more elderly veterans, as they tend to be forgotten sometimes. Our music for this show comes from a new name to us: Michael Allen. Not much puts a moment of silence in our show, but Michael has done just that. His last song on the show has our panel caught in their thoughts and looking at the message of the pain that is endured when you lose a battle buddy, or anyone close, to suicide. He’s new to the music scene, but you’d never guess it listening to his music. He’s in the Army currently with 5th Special Forces group. MSG Allen is knocking on the door of retirement after serving for 17 years. He and his wife are expecting their first child very soon. He’s been doing music since high school, but really only picked up the guitar again after he quit drinking and needed to stay present about 2 years ago. The first song is War Machine. This song details the journey from civilian to soldier, serving in combat and returning home to deal with depression and PTSD. The second song is called Slow Down. This one is a reflection on a low point in life. Michael realized that if he just would take a step back and slow down then he would be alright. This song captures some of the setbacks that a lot of veterans go through when they get out of combat or service. The last song of the night is called The Fatal Affair. This one is a kind of sad song. He quit drinking and all of the things that were buried under the alcohol started to resurface. He googled “is thinking about taking your own life normal” and his wife found the Google search and it led to conversations that needed to be had. He also recently lost a friend to suicide, Chad Buckley. This song was written recently and it is haunting in the most beautiful way. It is raw and it is emotional and definitely has a Shock & Awe factor. This is just a song that has to be heard. #inspiration #wep3 #letsgrow Things we are working on: Wreaths Across America – https://www.facebook.com/share/129xDbNmPTJ/?mibextid=WC7FNe WeP3 RADIO — WE are the leading music station featuring music created, written, produced and sung by those who have served their country and communities!!! https://live365.com/station/WeP3-RADIO-a51414 If you would like to watch the live version, you can find it here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/live/VTUuOZam9cs?si=2cViyHofYbF6xQ2h Next Week's Guests: 20 April 2025 Aaron Hale Scott Taylor

WE got to meet and share stories with our guest, Glenn Baker! Glenn is both our musician and guest are all in one and he has plenty to share with the world about his military career, his passion for music and his desire to help others who have served overcome their struggles. Glenn believes your should live by the #freedoms you believe are your own. The music on this episode was introduced by Glenn Baker who went to basic at Fort Sill, OK and was deployed in Desert Storm. The music video for the song Finish This Fight starts with some cadence calling and it is from his Drill Sergeant from way back in basic training in 1989. This was his first song of the night. His intention with the music video was to show people what it actually means to sign the dotted line and give your life to a life of service. “Freedom is much deeper than a word. #Freedom is abundant life.” - Glenn shares this mantra and uses the thought in the first song he released after getting back into music, and it is simply called Freedom. It was also his first music video and his first country music song. It’s as he says about God and Country. In July 2020, Glenn woke up in the middle of the night and wrote a song in about 15 minutes. This is the last song on this episode and it’s called No New Normal. He is also turning his song Finish This Fight into an organization called Finish This Fight Foundation, or Triple Foxtrot.
