  • Episode 14: Grief and Love
    Feb 24 2024

In this episode, I discuss grief and love. Grief is something that touches every one of us, at some point in our lives. It’s a universal human experience, but grief is also deeply personal and unique to each individual. Love often finds expression in various creative forms, such as art, music, poetry, and more.  It is more than just an emotional expression, it is an action. We all experience and demonstrate love differently. I process coping with the grief of Kobe Bryant and exploring love- the lyrics behind, “When it hurts so bad” by Lauryn Hill.

In this episode, I discuss how Lauryn Hill and Kobe Bryant are two phenomenal and prominent figures in their respective industries. As a sports and music lover, I explore and process the overlap of their influence. We can learn a great deal from Lauryn’s and Kobe’s work ethic and artistic expression.

  • Episode 12: Miseducated and Unplugged
    Feb 12 2024

In today's episode, I share my personal thoughts and feelings about Lauryn Hill and her solo debut album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and her appearance on MTV's Unplugged. Lauryn's natural ability to blend genres, her soulful sounds, and meaningful lyrics is to be discussed with grace. I offer a few reflective questions throughout the episode to help you consider how you can find peace of mind and define your own destiny.
