  • The President’s Plans On “Keeping Men Out Of Women’s Sports”
    Feb 7 2025
Earlier this week the Senate confirmed Pam Bondi to lead the Department of Justice. After being sworn in as U.S. Attorney General on Wednesday, Bondi quickly issued several directives. From establishing the "Weaponization Working Group," directing the DOJ to pause all funding to sanctuary cities, and planning to create a new Joint Task Force focused on holding Hamas accountable for its crimes against Jews, her first day in office was a busy one. FOX News Sunday Anchor Shannon Bream joins to discuss how Bondi's priorities align with the President's. Later, she reveals her Super Bowl winner predictions. President Trump signed an executive order this week banning transgender athletes from competing in women's sports, with the Department of Education tasked with investigating violations of the new Title IX rule. The conversation around transgender athletes in women's sports came to a head when transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, on the UPenn swimming team, was criticized for competing against female athletes. Former UPenn swimmer, and former teammate of Lia Thomas, Margot Kaczorowski joins the Rundown to discuss her experience competing with a transgender athlete and why she thinks the executive order is a step in the right direction. Don't miss the good news with Tonya J. Powers. Plus, commentary from host of The Will Cain Show, Will Cain. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

  • The GOP's Unity Is About To Face A Major Test
    Feb 6 2025
President Trump has been working at a swift pace in order to lay out all his policy initiatives in his first 100 days in office. One of those was his cost-cutting Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, headed up by SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Critics are calling for more oversight as the unofficial DOGE department makes budget cuts across the government. President Trump also raised questions across the globe when he suggested that the United States might take control of the Gaza Strip at the conclusion of its conflict with Israel. Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer (R) joins the Rundown to discuss the future of Gaza, respond to critiques of the DOGE department, and what comes next in the process to extend the federal budget. The U.S. has sent the first group of migrants to Guantanamo Bay, as the Trump administration follows through on plans to expand this prison for terrorists to include space to house deported migrants. As President Trump’s first wave of mass deportations have targeted illegal immigrants, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says this demonstrates the President “is not messing around.” Former federal prosecutor and criminal defense lawyer joins the podcast to explain the legality of sending deported migrants to Guantanamo. Plus, commentary from radio host and author of What's Killing America, Jason Rantz. Photo Credit: AP Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Simply and informative way to get my news

This is a straight and simple forward for getting my morning news while on the move - it’s clear and straight to the point and a great way of getting the news on what’s happening around the country and world. Highly recommend. Especially for those of the 20-40 age range.

Fantastic

I don’t have time to watch the news anymore. I don’t have enough interest in liberal slanted politics of other radio broadcasts. This program is excellent, a quick summary of what I need and want. Well done!

Feels a little like I'm listening to MSNBC

I am searching for comprehensive, educational world news with a little deeper dive and a neutral perspective. It strangely seems as if the presenter is taking an antagonistic approach to conservatives and doesn't sound neutral at all. I haven't decided if I want to continue follow.

To many advertisements !

Stories are informative, performers are fine but the number of ads that play are ridiculous. I get tired of listening because some of the ads are as long as some of the stories. If I wanted to listen to that I would watch TV.
