In a Boston bar in December 2023 — over drinks that cost more than the guys usually like to spend — the concept for the Froze Bros podcast was born. Just like an actual birth, going from conception to the emergence of something hard on the ears and that friends insincerely call cute took about nine months. The resulting podcast is a comical, irreverent, yet sometimes still informative look at frozen food and drinks. Hosts Mike, who knows his way around a kitchen, Darren, who never really learned to cook, and Max, who later joined as an official Bro, talk buying, cooking, and eating frozen foods—and whatever else crosses their frozen minds.     The Froze Bros welcome their first guest, their good friend Joe, as they dig into Red Baron French Bread Pepperoni Pizza. (You may hear a few comparison’s to Joe’s favorite Stouffer’s version, but don’t tell the Baron.)

    The fun doesn't stop there, as the Bros and Joe share some stories and memories about favorite frozen foods. As usual, their minds and chatter wander down some tangents, and in this “French-themed” episode, the team nearly ruins diplomatic ties with France.

    In another first, the Bros introduce a new segment called "Froze Before Hoes," and they freeze some treats that were never meant to be frozen. First up: Frozen Hostess Ho Hos (thus the segment name), Nabisco Nutter Butters and OREOs, and Peanut Butter M&Ms. Which ones will improve with a deep chill?

    Whether you’re a fan of frozen pizza, sweet snacks, or just goofy comedy, come join the grande fête. The Bros definitely have that…je ne sais quoi.

    The three-part Frozathon continues as Darren and Max lunch on Sandwich Bros. Chicken Melts. But before reviewing these snack sandwiches, the Bros dig into what’s in their freezers—and they discuss what are safe lengths of time to keep meat frozen. They also somehow get into fruity desserts, copyright law, and a certain well-loved Christmas movie. And will Darren ever offer Max a beer?

    Getting into their chicken melt review, the Bros talk packaging, cooking, taste and texture, whimsy, value, and whether they could make these themselves. Two frozen meals, one after the other, are starting to wear on the Bros. Fortunately, Dr. Ici Yupi is on call nearby.

    The episode gets more savory when it's time for a Pop Quiz, where Max attempts to identify a mystery frozen popsicle flavor.
